EV Charger Installation in Sacramento, Rancho Cordova, & Nearby

Lux Dei Electric can install various types of EV chargers, including Level 2 charging stations, which are popular for faster home charging. We handle installations for all major EV brands, including Tesla chargers. Our team will assess your home's electrical system to recommend the best charger type and setup to meet your specific electric vehicle's needs and your daily driving habits, ensuring optimal performance and safety.

Our EV charger installation process begins with an assessment of your current electrical system and panel to determine its capacity and if any upgrades are needed. We then provide a clear estimate outlining the scope of work and costs involved. Once approved, our Tesla Certified and C10 licensed electricians will install the charger, including any necessary wiring, circuit breakers, and mounting. We ensure all work is up to code and leave your property clean and ready to charge your vehicle.

The time required for an EV charger installation can vary depending on your home's existing electrical infrastructure and the specific type of charger being installed. A straightforward installation might take a few hours, while more complex projects requiring panel upgrades or extensive wiring could take longer. We strive for efficiency and clear communication throughout the process, providing you with a realistic timeline during our initial assessment to minimize disruption to your schedule.

Whether you need a main panel upgrade for an EV charger installation depends on your home's current electrical capacity and the power demands of the new charger. Many modern EV chargers, especially Level 2 units, require a dedicated circuit that your existing panel might not be able to accommodate without an upgrade. Lux Dei Electric will perform a thorough inspection during your initial consultation to determine if an upgrade is necessary, ensuring your system can safely support the new load.
